Terms and conditions relating to your wedding booking on date ___/___/___
This document is the contract we will have between us and by signing it you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of sale. We ask you to read these very carefully and to ask for any clarification you might need.
Terms of reference : The company means RP Hotels Ltd, The Manor Cheadle. “Client” means the person or persons booking the wedding. “Guests” means those invited to attend the event.
Making a booking .
Once you have decided on a date and The Manor has availability we will hold your date on a provisional basis for a period of two weeks. The booking is only confirmed at the stage when you have signed a contract with us, paid the sum of £500 non refundable deposit. Where booking a Saturday all year or a Friday between April and September minimum numbers of 50 and 70 adults apply as per this package.
In the event that you wish to cancel your wedding booking for whatever reason it must be in writing only and any charges will apply as follows.
- Over six months but under one year £1500.
- Over three months but under six months 75% of the value of your booking.
- Under three months the full value of your booking.
These charges are all free of vat.
If we are able to resell your date we may be able refund some deposits only after the event has taken place.
If, for any reason you wish to move your date, dependent upon the length of notice period your deposit will be lost and there may be cancellation charges.
We will send you a payment by instalment schedule. The final balance is payable four weeks prior to your event. We accept cash, debit cards and cheques made out to RP Hotels Ltd. For credit card payments we will charge a 2% fee with effect from 1 st April 2008.
The inclusive package is based on a minimum number of 50 adults for the breakfast and 70 adults for the evening reception. Final numbers should be notified 3 weeks prior. The final number or the number attending whichever is the greater will be charged.
You agree to reimburse the company for any material loss or damage caused by your guests and any future loss of business that directly results from the actions of your guests. You agree to be responsible for the good conduct of your guests and make them aware of your liability.
- The company accept no responsibility for the safe keeping of any valuables or other possessions including motor vehicles of either you or your guests.
- Please note that confetti of any type, indoor or outdoor is not permitted. In the event that confetti is used, you agree to pay £150.00 cleaning charge.
- The company reserve the right to cancel any event at any time for the following reasons
- Force majeure
- Circumstances that fall outside the control of the company.
- If the company decides that the event would be detrimental and damage the good name of the company. In this case, the Directors decision will be final.
- Hotel room bookings.
Where rooms are available to your guests it will be on a first come first served basis. Check in is at 15.00hrs and check out at 11.00hrs. We can not guarantee that rooms will be ready before this time. If in doubt we advise that the room should be booked the night before. Please note that unless exclusive use is booked, a number of our rooms will be reserved for customers wishing to stay 2 nights or more.
- In the event of any dispute English Law will determine the outcome.
