Food

We like to make life simple so that is why we do not offer any food packages at different prices. Most menus will be included in the overall package price. We sit down with you and talk about what you would like to eat.
We will then construct a menu together in harmony with the season and your tastes. We are confident we will arrive at a menu you are delighted with. After all, every thing is prepared on the day in house from only the freshest ingredients.
We take the same approach to the evening buffet too! We have twenty items to choose from and we ask you to pick six with Cajun spiced potato wedges. We can advise you on the balance of the selection.
With exclusive use there is also the option of a BBQ in the Summer months

First course
Warm leek and Stilton tart with pear chutney
Chicken liver and brandy pate with Cumberland sauce
Haddock and salmon fish cake with chunky tartar sauce
Prawn and fresh pineapple salad with Pernod mayonnaise and toasted almonds

Main course
Breast of chicken pan-fried with bacon and onion, red wine jus
Roast sirloin of beef with red wine, tomato and mushroom sauce
Roast leg of rosemary and garlic lamb with minted pear, redcurrant jus
Roast loin of Staffordshire pork, stuffed spiced apple
Pan fried breast of duck with honey and mustard glaze

We select the most appropriate potato and vegetables for your chosen dish.

Chocolate torte with orange and Grand Marnier syrup
