The Manor
This beautiful 250 year old house stands at the top of the high street in Cheadle. From the front it is deceptive but once inside the entrance hall with original Minton tiled floor and oak hand carved staircase and high ceiling you get an immediate sense of warmth.
Either side of the hallway are the Beech and Garden rooms. Access to the Manor Hall is through the garden room.
Civil ceremonies
For couples wishing to get married at the Manor, The Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and can comfortably seat up to 100 guests. The registrar’s table is situated in front of the stage and from there a red carpet runs the length of the Hall with guests seated either side of the central aisle.
The bride has a great entrance coming down two sets of stairs before joining the red carpet and then walking up the aisle to join her groom.
Please note that Brides should arrive by car, as we are unable to offer facilities for the bride to get ready at the Manor.
To contact the registrar based in Leek, call 01538 373166.

Your day at a glance, whether you have a church wedding or civil ceremony.
Drinks in the garden
After the civil ceremony guests will join the newlyweds in the beautiful walled garden for drinks and photographs. There is outside seating on the patio. A one hour drinks reception means just that. There is no need to worry how many drinks to offer. Wines, Pimms and soft drinks are in plentiful supply.
The centrepiece of the garden is the koi pool with the bridge, a favourite shot for photographers. It is festooned with colour in the summer and there is ample space on the lawn for group shots as well as the wrought Iron love seat in front of the trees.

The Wedding Breakfast
The Manor Hall is transformed into a lovely room for a wedding Breakfast for up to 100 guests. Here we serve meals freshly produced in house on the day using only local Staffordshire produce where we can. The table plan can be set in many different ways dependant upon numbers and the degree of formality or informality required.

The Evening Reception
After the wedding breakfast and speeches guests have time to unwind and relax as the Hall is again changed to provide a different setting and mood. The Hall benefits from its own in built disco and lighting system and can welcome up to 80 guests with the buffet served in the room. The Hall also has its own integral bar making it a complete venue.
For occasions where more guests are invited the garden room is used for the buffet allowing capacity to move to 120 guests. This option is only possible where exclusive use is taken.
The four poster
Situated on the first floor, this lovely en-suite room with Edwardian triple mirror dressing table and Victorian style pedestal bath is the only guest room in the main house and is reserved for the Bride and Groom. It really is the perfect place to end a perfect day.
In the morning you can breakfast with close friends and family and talk about yesterday.

Parking
There are two car parks. The front car park is small with only 8 spaces. The back car park can take up to 40 cars.
